If you are interested in information about becoming a CAP cadet, here are some important things to know:

• You may join as early as age 12 and up until the day before your 19th birthday.

• Deer Valley Composite Squadron requires all potential cadets to attend an eight-week orientation program that helps them understand what is involved in becoming a CAP cadet and what to expect as a CAP member.

• If you would like to get on the waiting list for the next orientation class, please send a message to cadet-info@squadron302.org and include that in your email. Parents/guardians and potential cadets will be contacted about attending an information meeting at the squadron before the next orientation class begins. 

• Visit the CAP national website for more information about the cadet program, including FAQs and information for parents of future cadets. 

If you are interested in joining as an adult member (18 or older), send a message to senior-info@squadron302.org.
