Deer Valley Composite Squadron 302
Welcome to Deer Valley Composite Squadron 302, a large and active CAP squadron!
Squadron 302 is part of Group IV in the Arizona Wing of the Civil Air Patrol. With nearly 100 senior and cadet members, the squadron is one of the largest in the state. Two Cessna 182 airplanes are assigned to the squadron and members are also involved in the Wing's award-winning ground search and rescue team. Squadron 302 boasts a top-ranked cadet color guard. Extensive training is provided to all members to prepare them to carry out CAP missions and serve our community.
The squadron building is located at the Deer Valley Airport, 932 W. Deer Valley Rd.
Cadet members meet every Monday from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.
Senior members and cadets meet on the third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
NOTE: Due to COVID-19 restrictions and safety precautions, in-person meetings may be suspended. Composite meetings of both cadet and senior members (3rd Monday of each month) are held with an option to attend virtually. Any unvaccinated member attending an in-person meeting is expected to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
