CAP Planes at Deer Valley Airport

During operational exercises, cadet orientation flights, and search and rescue missions, multiple CAP planes may be on the ramp at Deer Valley Airport.

Inside the envelope

Deer Valley cadets have the opportunity to work with hot air balloons at local events.

Aircraft ground handling

Both cadets and senior members learn aircraft ground handling skills.

Flying Small Unmanned Aerial Systems

CAP has a fleet of almost 2,000 small Unmanned Aerial Systems (drones). Both cadets and senior members may learn to fly the sUAS.

Field Training Exercise

Cadets from Deer Valley and the 388th Composite Squadron participated in a Field Training Exercise with a simulated search for a "missing" helicopter.

Cadets Tour F-16 at Luke AFB

Cadets from Deer Valley Composite Squadron visited Luke Air Force Base and toured an F-16 fighter jet.
